Sponsorship from the Port of Karlshamn
The Port of Karlshamn supports children and youth activities in the municipality of Karlshamn.
We want to contribute to an active, safe and inclusive community life – regardless of whether it involves sports, culture, music or other activities that make a difference for young people.
We prioritize initiatives such as:
- is aimed at children and young people in Karlshamn municipality
- creates benefits for many
- contributes to development, community and sustainable association life
Sponsorship is part of our local community benefit and will strengthen both the association's operations and the Port of Karlshamn brand.
Application and important dates
The application is open continuously throughout the year .
In order for us to be able to plan and process applications in a timely manner, the following applies:
Application deadline: November 30 (every year)
Notification due: no later than last December
Payment: during Q4
We recommend that the application is made well in advance as many associations make their plans for the coming year early in the fall.
How we assess applications
When selecting, we look at, among other things:
- target group and scope
- expected visibility and distribution
- how the sponsorship contributes to the values and social role of the Port of Karlshamn
- how the money creates concrete benefits for children and young people
We do not sponsor political, religious or commercial causes.
Association sponsorship is an important part of our local community involvement and is available for children and youth activities, primarily in sports and cultural activities. The sponsorship is intended to get children and young people moving, becoming part of social contexts and leading a healthier and more wholesome life.
