Sponsorship
Do you want to apply for sponsorship?
Sponsorship of local associations is an important part of our community engagement, primarily supporting activities for children and youth, especially in sports and cultural programs. The sponsorship aims to encourage children and young people to be active, become part of social communities, and lead healthier, more active lives.
Guidelines
The sponsorship is aimed at registered children's and youth associations with a non-profit and public interest focus in the municipality of Karlshamn. Port of Karlshamn does not provide sponsorship directly to individuals. The recipient of the sponsorship certifies that their activities are not associated with messages that could be perceived as controversial, risky, political, or religious. Nor should they be immoral, unethical, or in any way infringing on personal integrity.
Sponsorship can be applied for via our website, and the amounts may vary. The requirements for reciprocity include that Port of Karlshamn has the right to use the recipient's name to publicize the decision, and that the recipient must communicate the sponsorship to their members on their website and through social media.
Selection criteria for sponsorship
Once a year (Q1), sponsorship recipients are selected based on received applications. A jury consisting of two employees at the Port of Karlshamn, selects and contacts the winners.
Criteria taken into account:
- How many people benefit from the money
- That the business is located in the municipality of Karlshamn
- That the application follows the guidelines for sponsorship (see above.)
