The Port of Karlshamn offers comprehensive services for handling dry bulk and project cargo. The port handles forest products such as sawn timber, pulp, logs, wood chips, and pellets, as well as road salt and heavy, oversized project cargo, including wind turbines and transformers. With the capacity to accommodate vessels up to 245 meters in length and a draft of 10.5 meters, along with a total port area of 1,000,000 m², the port provides efficient loading and unloading operations. The Port of Karlshamn is equipped with modern cranes, material handlers, and specialized equipment for various types of cargo and has railway tracks directly adjacent to the quay.
