The Port of Karlshamn is now looking for a supervisor for Stillerydshamnen, which includes both RoPax (passenger ferries), sea terminal (cargo ships) and railway and combi terminal. Here you will have the opportunity to contribute to the long-term development of the business, ensure smooth workflows and be the link between site manager and employees.

Your Tasks
As a supervisor, you will have a central role where your everyday life combines time with staff in the operation with planning, work environment and routines, as well as participation in improving and developing the port's processes. Your everyday life will consist of, among other things:
You will be part of a team of 5 supervisors where you will work closely together on a daily basis. As a supervisor, you will be a key person in creating an efficient, safe and motivating work environment with a high level of service to our customers.
- Distribute tasks and plan daily work in an operation with clear variations in occupancy and needs
- Ensure that safety procedures are followed and the work environment is safe
- Contact with both internal and external stakeholders, customers and partners
- Make quick decisions in the event of unexpected events and manage multiple projects in parallel
- Actively participate in improvement work, the development of work routines and contribute to the long-term development of the business

Your Profile
- We are looking for you with previous experience from personnel management who is a confident leader in industries such as ports, logistics, warehousing, transport/haulage, construction, etc.
- Experience in shipping, offshore or port operations is a strong asset
- Knowledge of port-specific machines and processes is also an advantage
- We also expect you to have a practical understanding of the workplace's machinery and resources and to be prepared to contribute to daily work when the situation requires it.
We are looking for someone who is change and solution-oriented with strong self-leadership. You have a good ability to make quick and well-founded decisions in an everyday life that is characterized by variety and pace. You have a pronounced communicative ability and thrive in collaboration with others, both internally and externally. In your leadership, you are calm, clear and objective - even when the situation requires rapid changes or occurs under pressure.

- Salary: individual fixed salary with supplements for standby and overtime
- Start: By arrangement
- Duration: Until further notice
- Working hours: Full-time, daytime. Standby every 4-5 weeks
